M. Dean Ross

Mr. Ross joined the firm in 1982 as an actuarial analyst. He is now a Consultant responsible for preparing and communicating the results of actuarial valuations and studies to clients, the resolution of problems related to pension plans, and consulting on plan design for over 80 governmental pension plans.
He's frequently called on to testify as an expert witness at interest and grievance arbitration hearings and has provided specialized consulting to a number of municipalities regarding issuing pension obligation bonds.
Mr. Ross' responsibilities also include providing technical training to staff and development of pension valuation software and procedures. He serves as a liaison with regulatory agencies. And, he's written several articles related to compliance issues for municipal pension plans.
